Best USB hub for VR/etc

I can't find the thread I'd read here about USB hubs, so I'll just post and ask.

What is the best USB hub that everyone uses/recommends for VR headsets and other controllers again? My D link ones I've used for a few years need replacement toute suite. Thanks in advance.

I use a 4 input Orico with individual on/off blue light indicator buttons. I plug it into my 1000ma USB 3.x using my Rift, j-stick, throttle and multi-purpose controller...couldn't be happier!

As it is not self-powered, you will need to use a powered USB port as mentioned. Very nice not to have to do plug-in/plug-out...simply press a button.

I use a powered RSHTECH USB 3 Hub - 4 port - each port has individual on/off buttons.

I plug my Rift S USB in it and when not in use just switch that port off.

Powered meaning it has an A/C adapter to plug in.

buy the reverb G2, it takes care of its own power supply... as it should be.

HP G2 Reverb, Windows 10 VR settings: IPD is 64.5mm, High image quality, G2 reset to 60Hz refresh rate as standard. OpenXR user, Open XR tool kit disabled. Open XR was a massive upgrade for me.

DCS: Pixel Density 1.0, Forced IPD at 55 (perceived world size), 0 X MSAA, 0 X SSAA. My real IPD is 64.5mm. Prescription VROptition lenses installed. VR Driver system: I9-9900KS 5Ghz CPU. XI Hero motherboard and RTX 3090 graphics card, 64 gigs Ram, No OC at the mo. MT user  (2 - 5 fps gain). DCS run at 60Hz.

Vaicom user. Thrustmaster warthog user. MFG pedals with damper upgrade.... and what an upgrade! Total controls Apache MPDs set to virtual Reality height with brail enhancements to ensure 100% button activation in VR.. Simshaker Jet Pro vibration seat.. Uses data from DCS not sound.... you know when you are dropping into VRS with this bad boy.

It's not just for the G2 (I have 2 pre ordered), I have typically 2 Virpil/VKB sticks per gaming station along with one of my Virpil throttles and pedals, on top of the usual kb/mouse/etc/etc things.

Aurelius, no, I don't have any new PMs in my box, I"ll go check through some old ones, sometimes the youngster units get into my main game station and check things they aren't supposed to. Thanks!

BTW guys G2 is USB 3.1 gen1. Have that in mind where you will plugged in your G2. You do not need to have type C on your MBO. HP including in box Type C to A connector. So just be sure your MBO got 3.1 gen1 USB. 3.2 gen2 will work as well but older standards could have issues.
