Dave317
Any idea if the trees are collidable and if the AI will be able to 'see' through them?
Buzzles
It'll be like NTTR, so definitely yes for collidable. I don't know about LoS. FWIW, you can make it so the AI can't see through them in 1.5, it's a lua setting. It's just unoptimised and will really hurt your FPS unless you have a killer PC. Fancy trying Star Citizen? Dave317
That's great news. Can't wait to fly the Gazelle low down between the trees.
BaD CrC
NTTR have collidable trees and you can hide from enemy los behind them. It will be same for Normandy. This will be a real game changer for helicopters operations because there's not much trees in Nevada, but in Normandy, they'll become part of the tactical planning. https://www.blacksharkden.com http://discord.gg/blacksharkden
EagleEye
...and you can hide from enemy los behind them. So you say that AI helicopters can`t detect you through trees in Nevada? AI have no LoS through trees? BaD CrC
Not sure about AI helicopters, but you can sit next to a AAA unit without being shot as long as you remain behind tree line. https://www.blacksharkden.com http://discord.gg/blacksharkden
Merlin-27
Can confirm they are collidable in Normandy and provide a very dramatic result. Strafing just became a bit more challenging as you not only have to avoid terra firma!
