Lixma 06
There's a lever for the AP altitude channel - Up & Down. If you hold it the helicopter rises or descends as commanded but then returns to the original height as when the altitude channel was first engaged. Is this correct behaviour? Is the UP/DOWN lever just for momentarily 'hopping' over trees or other obstacles? Also, the altitude AP seems to be using baro altitude - is there a way to make it use radar altitude? Is the UP/DOWN lever just for momentarily 'hopping' over trees or other obstacles? No. It's for testing the system. It's not meant to be used in flight. Lixma 06
No. It's for testing the system. It's not meant to be used in flight. Sadly we are destined to fiddle with it :joystick: Thanks for the info!
msalama
we are destined to fiddle with it! No, we are not in the slightest. Just fly the bird and use the AP as expedient. S! The DCS Mi-8MTV2.
