wingsuit
I've found a few topics on how to mirror audio between rift and speakers, but I'm wondering if dcs has anything for the splitting of jet noise vs radio traffic? What I'd like is for my 5.1 surround to be booming away but have headphones on that only hear radio traffic. I'm mainly playing through the rift so I usually just pipe audio through the rift or the 5.1 , but I've just installed a jetseat and some butt kickers , and in vr I'd love to replace my oculus headset with an over ear setup. That way I could use the 5.1 to get the benefits of deep rumble bass and increase immersion to hear the radio calls clear but the jet muffled a bit through my headset Any ideas of if this is possible and where to go to read up on how to do it? Canada_Moose
Yes, if you use VAICOM plugin https://www.vaicompro.com/ See page 28 of the user manual. I highly recommend it. Edited April 18, 2019 by Canada_Moose

Anklebiter
What an awesome idea. One day when I retire and get a soundproofed room so the wife and kids aren't bothered, I'm going to make a super VR pit with this type of sound setup.
