Take Off issue & load factor

I’ve had problems taking off without over rotating, so I finally tried to find what I was doing wrong. I’ve made 3 videos when I take off, one with full military (MS), one with AB stage 2 & one with AB stage 3.

Clean AC, 60% fuel, trim 0, weather 15C.

MS:

Work like I thought it would, rotation at 280 to 10degrees, only thing is that it’s very sensitive on the stick.

AB stage 2:

Also work as I thought, rotation at 250 to 13 degrees.

AB stage 3:

Does not work, it’s not possible to rotate before 250 and because I pull too hard to try to rotate I over rotate when I hit 250.

With my load out and temperature I should be able to start rotation at 150 with AB3.

For AB2 I should be able to rotate at 220.

But I can’t start rotation after 250.

The G’s:

In subsonic speed:

Normal I’d say, the possible G to pull seems to correspond to the charts.

Supersonic:

Not normal, it should not be possible to pull this many G with such small stick movement.

I’m maxing the G gauge with a 1/4 of stick movement.

Why do you think that rotation with full AB at 150 km/h would work? Just curious, do you have any kind of official chart for the real aircraft?

Since our DCS Viggen manual only says 250 for afterburner:

And 250 km/h works just fine, like you showed too. Note that normally you should watch the timeline on the HUD instead of the speed indicator. The poles on the HUD are also references for the correct takeoff pitch angle:

That is, horizon without AB, outer pole with AB.

Nice videos by the way. Videos are super good for demonstrating problems.

I was looking at this chart:

The green line is MS

The yellow line is for Stage2

The red one is for Stage 3

My weight in the videos is around 13000kg but even at 19kkg the rotation speed is below 250 with stage 3.

But it’s not possible to get any response before 250 in dcs.

No. But I just don't takeoff with these speeds. Our manual says speed 250, that's what I do and it works. I usually use the time line on the bottom of the HUD.

Dunno about the real aircraft, maybe it's not implemented correctly regarding the pictures you show.
