D-30 was the first model with dive flaps, si if we get P-47D-30 we will get the Thunderbolt with them.

hi just for clearing octane topic
things looks like this
more octane -> bigger manifold pressure allowed = more power = better climb ratio
more octane -> same manifold pressure as with lower octane fuel = same power = same climb ratio
