Westland Lysander - Anyone else want one?

Am I the only one who would like to see a Westland Lysander in DCS WW II? I can think of some really interesting missions, dropping off secret agents and picking up downed air crews at night from makeshift airfields.

Would make some nice change from dogfighting too.

Very nice plane, I saw it at the local airshow few years earlier. But I would feel dissapointed if the devs will "waste" their time to make this plane...

Agree Suchacz! First things first! But maybe later on? A WW2 sim would feel a bit strange with only fighters. I can see other planes like C-47's, Storchs etc having a place in there as well.

Yes, DCS Europe needs more planes than pure fighters!

A lot of you have good ideas for DCS WW2 to commit commercial suicide.

Transports, spotters, gliders, and aircraft that mostly flew at night are not how you begin a WW2 flight sim. For goodness sake, the Westland Lysander looks like a 1940s Cessna 172.

Gav, don't rain on everyone's dreams! :)

We would just need a bunch of 3rd parties to step up. Maybe sell them in a package to get a decent price.

Also, you need to try Doooms Mustang dawn mission. Night/low-light sorties can be very cool. Definitely a different experience combat-wise. A mosquito would fit perfectly.

I'd definitely pay for a bunch of these a/c... But of course it's a very small target audience and definitely not a big money maker for RRG.

These aircraft don't necessarily need to be flyable but having them as A.I would add to the immersion of WW2. I don't think we should dismiss any WW2 era aircraft.
