But you know how much hassle it was to get them sold...all the meetings and paperwork, the payment delays and what not else....should have charged 20k$.

 

If it goes over 5 grand it's a nightmare. They pay more for their incompetence in getting things sorted imho.

$15,000! I need to make a bid to the USAF.

 

To be fair though, in military contracts it's typical to include delivery, installation, and maintenance for X years. Sad part is though, due to procurement red tape, that stuff's already obsolescent.

 

Saw a good article a while back about an F-15 sim upgrade in Florida. They went with multimonitor flat screens versus the old dome screen setup. I love VR but would love one of these in my gameroom. "Low cost" is definitely relative in this case.
