I wouldn't go that far. It does mean those features are design frozen, ie won't be changed anymore and work as intended. They are now in testing. 

 

We'll most likely see a bunch more videos in the run up to the grand two-seven.

Yeah there still a tonne of things for Wags to do videos on, I mean the features for the Hornet that are slated to release with 2.7 are at least 5 videos worth alone.

 

I'm still going to say 31st of March for the update (which is on a patch day), but I'm leaning on expecting the update around mid-April, and I'll be pleasantly surprised if it's earlier.

Modules I own: F-14A/B, Mi-24P, AV-8B N/A, AJS 37, F-5E-3, MiG-21bis, F-16CM, F/A-18C, Supercarrier, Mi-8MTV2, UH-1H, Mirage 2000C, FC3, MiG-15bis, Ka-50, A-10C (+ A-10C II), P-47D, P-51D, C-101, Yak-52, WWII Assets, CA, NS430, Hawk.

Terrains I own: South Atlantic, Syria, The Channel, SoH/PG, Marianas.

System:

GIGABYTE B650 AORUS ELITE AX, AMD Ryzen 5 7600, Corsair Vengeance DDR5-5200 32 GB, Western Digital Black SN850X 1 TB (DCS dedicated) & 2 TB NVMe SSDs, Corsair RM850X 850 W, NZXT H7 Flow, MSI G274CV.

Thats also what ED aims at atm, from the patch status thread: "Next update: Planned 31st March 2021 ( subject to change )".

were there any more infos on the new propeller effects for 2.7?

 

is it safe to assume those effects were made with vr reprojection in mind? that would be great news.

No more info. It may just be a list of things on their development agenda, not something that will land with the first 2.7 release. 

 

But I'm also looking forward to improvements in this area 🙂

I'm pretty sure I spotted new prop effects on the mozzie last video it was in (cant remember which one)

Oh yes, the suicide ratio will probably increase in DCS community now 😄 I agree, better to wait a bit more time and have a good quality patch instead.
