fitness88
After I view the contents of any thread I expect the thread title to no longer be in regular not bold font, this would then indicate a read thread but the title remains in bold font until I force a page refresh. Is there a setting to change this? Thank you.
Rudel_chw
You are probably backing away from the thread by using your navigator "back" button, so you go back to the locally cached page, there is no way for the forum software to fix that. Why then when using Internet Explorer 11 when I press the back button the title is normal font not bold font. This issue of the font staying bold happens in Google Chrome, Firefox and Ms Edge but not as mentioned in IE11.

I don't know the technical nuances behind the caching mechanism of every Interet Browser, but clearly this is a Browser issue, not a website issue. fitness88
I just remembered, IE11 has options when returning to a web page already viewed, to always search for a new page or look in the cache first.
