dooom
Hey all. I have run into a blue screen of death the last 3 times i have tried to play. Is there a log I can find/post to try and see if folks can help me ID the problem? jmarso
I also had this happen sporadically, although not in the past several days. Not sure if it was the game per se or my CPU getting hot when running it.

gavagai
Blue screen is not a good sign, and it's not likely to be a DCS problem. When was the last time you update your bios? I had blue screens last year and I realized I had never updated mine, and they were pre-release or something from when the x470 was brand new in 2018. Haven't seen one since updating. dooom
dcs log attached. I dont know what i am looking for in there... any ideas? Yeah - i dont think i updated the bios in some time... i used to get scared by that in the early 200s after some bad experiences with flashing and really never tried to do it again... maybe things are easier and more stable these days.dcs.log ASUS Tuf Gaming Pro x570 / AMD Ryzen 7 5800X @ 3.8 / XFX Radeon 6900 XT / 64 GB DDR4 3200 "This was not in the Manual I did not read", cried the Noob" - BMBM, WWIIOL
gavagai
They are easier and more stable these days. Obviously, you shouldn't mess with it if you don't have problems, but... Pikey
theres nothing in it because there wouldnt be anything in the dcs logs about an event that happens at kernel level. It would just "stop" like your logs do. You want you windows event logs. ___________________________________________________________________________ SIMPLE SCENERY SAVING * SIMPLE GROUP SAVING * SIMPLE STATIC SAVING *
ED Team BIGNEWY Posted September 27, 2020 ED Team Share Posted September 27, 2020 Hi When the crash happens check out your windows event viewer and look for clues in the system events. It will likely be a system issue, diver, power, memory or disk issue usually. thanks Forum rules - DCS Crashing?
