Brigg Posted February 21, 2018 Share Posted February 21, 2018 Seen a good deal on a Samsung SSD and was wondering if it would be worth while using it to just put DCS on and taking it off my main SSD. You wont see any dramatic change anymore, it's just to stay on the safer side if you want/need more space anyway. My C drive NVMe is also my (default) /temp for recordings which get finally stored on a HDD, DCS and other games reside on 2 independent Sata-SSD's. drives are in my sig btw. NVMe = OS ; 850Pro = 2 x Games/VMware ; 2x HDD is for cold storage and streaming end point. Other apps on D and games on another. Due to the size of flight sims, they generally get their own drive. These are all SSDs. Spinners are just for miscellaneous data.
