slicker55
I'm new to this module but it's fun and I'm having a blast... :pilotfly: Does anyone know if the TV got fixed? I read about removing the 'remarks' -- in the instrument lua code and tried this but it didn't fix it When the TV comes on, I can just about see an image of the landscape but this is over-layed with a green, blocky, semi-transparent image which say's 'missing texture'... Also tried changing slew, zoom, brilliance/contrast and toggling Normal/IR but still no better :( Edited January 2, 2020 by slicker55 i7-5820K 3.30Ghz | Asus X99-S | Sapphire R290X | R7 240 | 16GB DDR4 PC4 2800MHz | Samsung 850 EVO 500GB SSD (OS) | Samsung 840 EVO 500GB SSD (DCS) | Noctua NH-D14 2011 Cooler | OCZ ZT 750W '80 Plus Bronze' Modular PSU | NZXT Phantom Enthusiast | 3 x IIyama Prolite E2473HDS 24" | 1 x Dell S2240T 21.5" Touch Screen | Windows 10 64-Bit | AMD Eyefinity 5760 x 1080 | TrackIR5 | TM Warthog HOTAS | MFG Crosswind 1771 | Vaicom Pro + VA (Licensed) | Sennheiser Game Zero | Honeycomb Yoke (June 2020)]
swatstar98
Hi! This seems to be a texture problem, be sure to make a repair and run DCS without unnofficial mods. Cheers Chinook lover - Rober -

Ramsay
Does anyone know if the TV got fixed? Yes, it got fixed https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=3572129#post3572129 I read about removing the 'remarks' -- in the instrument lua code and tried this but it didn't fix it When the TV comes on, I can just about see an image of the landscape but this is over-layed with a green, blocky, semi-transparent image which say's 'missing texture'... I'm not sure what you are seeing as both IR and normal TV are working for the SA-342M when tested in DCS 2.5.5.41371 Single Player (Day and night). "Missing Texture" sounds like you need to validate your install or carry out a DCS "Repair". https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/support/faq/709/ Also tried changing slew, zoom, brilliance/contrast and toggling Normal/IR but still no better :( IIRC the Gazelle's IR takes ~5 minutes to "warm up". Can you post a track and/or screenshot ? slicker55
@Ramsay "Ramsay is on the money once again"... verify/repair - job done... many thanks @PolychopSimulations Yes, I am using a Helios profile which modifies some files including the TV init.lua However, Helios was not responsible for this issue because after DCS repair and Helios 'back in', the TV is working perfect. During verify/repair, DCS found many stray/obsolete files so, maybe, one or more of those was the culprit.
