lesthegrngo
Hi guys, finally got around to trying to install this to replicate the gauges I have no hope of making, but falling at the first fence. I am using the user guide on github, it says to download the Ikarus Master .zip file, no problem. Then it says to copy the 'scripts' folder - what 'scripts' folder? In the downloads I have done, there is no scripts folder, am I missing something? Cheers Les
harvesthunt
Thanks for the response H-J-P. What I ended up doing was starting over from scratch after reading and reading about setup. Now it works perfectly. I'm currently logging some of the switches and stuff that don't work properly on the AV-8Bwith their fixes (so you don't have to dig into them) I'll get a changelog together for you. H-J-P
It is already once that it works now in principle for you. That's very good. If you find bug, then report them. Thank you, Bill. yeti666
Works great! But is it possible to resize a complete profile to a smaller resolution, like you can do in Helios? If not, is that something that is gonna be added anytime soon? Thnx :)
JG14_Smil
yes, look in the details for the gauge and set the size in pixels.
yeti666
yes, look in the details for the gauge and set the size in pixels. I mean resizing the whole profile... So all buttons and gauges and stuff are resized too... Like you could do in Helios by resetting monitors...
JG14_Smil
Main panel details are for the whole size in pixels. No, it is not Helios.

H-J-P
The mainpanel is not scalable. It's that simple. It's all about performance. Make your own smaller or bigger version if you need it. It's not that hard. Warhog
I know almost nothing about the SDA software so forgive my possibly ill informed question. I wanted to know if this software would allow me the ability to generate a working HSI and an ADI display for the A10C that I could export on to separate 5.5inch 1024 x768 hdmi monitor. One display panel for each. I was also thinking that the wet compass display and the standby ADI could also be exported on to separate 1.5” oled's or small tft displays. Is this the software to use for this endeavor? Regards John W aka WarHog. My Cockpit Build Pictures... Guppy
Thanks HJP :) @Warhog; I'm slowly working on a tutorial on how to configure IKARUS for what you're asking for. But in short, yeah you can do exactly that and more. My Simpit Progress and Update Learn how to build a SimPit like mine: Follow my Blog here! H-J-P
 I don't want to tell you too much yet. But with the next evolution of our export script and Ikarus it will be possible to run several instances of Ikarus in a home network. This will open up even more possibilities. Guppy
Exciting! HJP - if I can offer some input. Also allow IKARUS to map key strokes to buttons; for example LALT+Home to start the engines (or whatever the key combo is). This would allow users to create buttons for FC aircraft like the F-15c. This would offer so much more possibilities than just assuages, but workable UFC controls. This would allow me to build a custom UFC for the F-15c by using the IKARUS software to creates buttons and mapping them to keystrokes that trigger an event in game. H-J-P
I've had this idea before. Let's have a look. Step by step. Is it worth it for FC aircraft? Guppy
I've had this idea before. Let's have a look. Step by step. Is it worth it for FC aircraft? The functionality of programming keyboard strokes to buttons is 100% needed. I would say to save on development time you don't need to build out each of those into the current pits... but I would say that functionality would enable even more use cases of the software. H-J-P
I've looked into it. With a WPF project it is unfortunately not so easy. I haven't found any good references yet. Not even at Microsoft. Strange! Now 2 users want it. Is there more? kEnnY_m
Been using the viggen profile a lot, any chance of implementing the waypoint indicator that's just below the transonic warning light? It's one of the biggest things missing in the profile that would be super useful to have.
