The trailer says 90.000 sq miles. How does that compare with the size of the other maps?

Here are some countries with an area similar to 90.000 sq miles to help compare:music_whistling:

Guinea 94,926 square miles

United Kingdom 93,638 square miles

Uganda 93,072 square miles

Ghana 92,098 square miles

Laos 91,400 square miles

Guyana 83,000 square miles

Belarus 80,153 square miles

It looks beautiful but please I wish they fixed this 21:9 video format. It's just black bars for no reason. I much prefer standard 16:9.

21:9 is a Cinematic Standard.

Windows 10 Pro, Ryzen 2700X @ 4.6Ghz, 32GB DDR4-3200 GSkill (F4-3200C16D-16GTZR x2),

ASRock X470 Taichi Ultimate, XFX RX6800XT Merc 310 (RX-68XTALFD9)

It would make sense if the trailer was made for movie theatres but for youtube, come on... It's more a waste of pixels than anything else.

True... but:

1 - I think it looks more cinematic, since 99,9% of my videos are made in a cinematic way anyway.

2 - It actually serves as a good tool during editing. Sometimes I need to frame the shot better, allign stuff more in the center. With the black bars I can move the picture up/down/tilt left and right and not worry too much of any quality loss of the image by zooming in.

But hey, maybe for any future "gameplay" videos I can try to remove the bars. We'll see :)

maybe i too should complain about 16:9 being a waste of pixels compared to 4:3 because my standard is the only one that matters

Sure... because 21:9 monitors are by far the most popular! Your sarcasm makes perfect sense here...
