I was wondering since strait of hormutz map was announced to be released back in the 2014 , if you guys have any update for this wondeful scenario. None of these things is waiting on another one. They are all independent of each other. But each of them needs to be developed and that just takes time. Please be patient. The Hornet was scheduled for Early Access at the end of 2016 and got delayed at the very last moment, so I would expect it to come pretty soon. Map teams are pretty busy with Normandy and the updates to the Black Sea map, I wouldnt expect it till after those. Konovalov Posted February 25, 2017 Share Posted February 25, 2017 I am hoping and expecting that the Back Sea map refresh and the 2.5 merge of 1.5 and 2.0 Nevada is an absolute priority as soon as Normandy map is done. And I admit that I haven't touched DCS since late last year having decided to wait for the merge with a simple single install of DCS where I can access all maps and everything with easy and without the bloated footprint of multiple version installs. And then fingers crossed after the merge we have later this year the Hornet and the Strait of Hormuz for carrier ops. Exciting times ahead.
