Growling Sidewinder Posted May 23, 2018 Share Posted May 23, 2018 The new smoke textures look absolutely incredible and they dont seem to cause any FPS problems as you fly close to the smoke. the old textures use to drop my frames to like 10 if I got close to them. (especially if there was a lot of smoke in the area) not the case this time around. Allows for some amazing immersion making an area look like its already been pounded long before you even arrive in the AO. Usually when I buy a game or something I regret paying for it later cuz almost always its a let down, but man am i happy i found DCS and i'm a huge supporter and this map just reminded me why I love this sim. well done and huge thank you to everyone who worked on this great map.
