Rivers

Although the water does look great, especially at sea, the rivers are still look a bit bad in my opinion. Is there a way for ED to make them look like they’re moving towards the sea? While we’re on the subject can we also have the river dropped below the surrounding terrain slightly - it always looking they’re about to burst their banks and flood the area. It would certainly give more depth to the maps I think.

On multiple places of Caucasus there are rivers and streams that are below the surrounding surface.

As an example, take a look around Sochi-Adler AF. The stream East of the runways.

Yeah 2.5 changed a lot for water for the good, my only complaints so far is that the water for rivers more in land looks markedly different (and almost opaque) compared to rivers close to the coast. But it's a massive improvement over 1.5 and below so it's a + for me.

One thing I have noticed is I see pretty weird things at the mouths of rivers where they border the sea. You can see the boundary very clearly through the water - but eh, not that noticeable IMO, the main thing for me though is sometimes I see some funny business going on - I see water making a \_/ shape (but it comes out of the surface, so I get phantom bits of water). I also see some different funny business.

The last 2 screenshots were taken from as close to the surface of the water as the F11 camera permits.

These are all pretty minor, and I'll admit I'm being pedantic to ^97 because water is such an improvement compared to 1.5, and as someone interested in maritime ops the most, it's a big + for me, it just needs some minor tweaking.
