razorseal
Hey everyone, I just ordered the 49" ultrawide Samsung monitor (along with a 8700k 2x 1080 ti) I'm curious if this monitor is supported with dcs where I can use it to it's full ability or will it stretch the screen? Thanks!
Mitthrawnuruodo
The monitor's aspect ratio won't be a problem.
David OC
Take a look at this thread about how to setup and use an ultrawide, see post 6 in that same thread, to see what it will look like for you in sim, you may need to save a new default field of view etc . I'm staying with my lowly old 1070 for now, waiting to see what Nvidia has got installed for us, hopefully soon? Nvidia’s new Ampere/Volta rumour mill . Flow
1080Ti in SLI ? That isn't supported by DCS, right ? i7 7700k • 1080Ti • 32GB @ 3200 MHz • 525GB M.2 • Oculus Rift Warthog + Pro Flight

Perhaps razorseal likes to mine bitcoin on his two 1080ti's :D . i7-7700K OC @ 5Ghz | ASUS IX Hero MB | ASUS GTX 1080 Ti STRIX | 32GB Corsair 3000Mhz | Corsair H100i V2 Radiator | Samsung 960 EVO M.2 NVMe 500G SSD | Samsung 850 EVO 500G SSD | Corsair HX850i Platinum 850W | Oculus Rift | ASUS PG278Q 27-inch, 2560 x 1440, G-SYNC, 144Hz, 1ms | VKB Gunfighter Pro Chuck's DCS Tutorial Library Download PDF Tutorial guides to help get up to speed with aircraft quickly and also great for taking a good look at the aircraft available for DCS before purchasing. Such a bad time to buy a GPU though, with the 2080 around the corner, and the miners driving the prices up. i7 7700k • 1080Ti • 32GB @ 3200 MHz • 525GB M.2 • Oculus Rift Warthog + Pro Flight

M3GT4
How are you getting on with this monitor? I'm going to order this monitor this week unless I can find a better one.
razorseal
I'll take a pic for you guys when I'm flying again. It's pretty sweet... but little narrow. I wish it was slightly wider. they say it's 27 monitors together. Sure, but it's narrower still...
FalcoNg
So how is it performing in DCS and what are your system specs? How are you liking the 49" size and after having some time with it, would you still pick this over a smaller UW screen?
Bartek16194
Im using this monitor with GTX 1060 6GB and im getting 45-70 FPS on high details. After applying some fixes to interface, I am able to perform the CASE I procedure without any problem and simultaneously use the radio.
