lwalter Posted July 28, 2019 Share Posted July 28, 2019 The SU25T HUD seems to be very prone to Sun reflection, which makes it very difficult to see through. Is this problem recent? I haven't noticed it before. Biggest issue is it's not a true reflection and is just an ugly static texture baked in. No. The 25T is the oldest flyable aircraft available, thus the low poly count and dated textures. When ED updated to the new rendering engine with 2.5 it broke lots of old, non-PBR textures... like both Su-25s cockpits and exteriors, and a slew of other aircraft, too. They have been going through 1 by 1 and updating them to the new rendering engine, but it takes time. They haven't been updated in ages, they worked fine in 1.5, the render engine change broke them.
