adber
Dear Magnitude 3 LLC, please animate the switches in the cockpit, there are not many switches in the cab to ignore this:joystick: Ил-76 XPLANE https://vk.com/club182254481
Jonne
Those are not switches, but circuit breakers. You do not really touch them when operating the aircraft anyway. I cannot think of any aircraft currently, which has CBs animated. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

-Rudel-
The CBs are usually covered and not easily accessible sitting in the cockpit. For this reason ground crew in general flip these CBs during pre-flight. 5 years ago, it was decided to leave them as is. https://magnitude-3.com/ https://www.facebook.com/magnitude3llc https://www.youtube.com/@magnitude_3 i9 13900K, 128GB RAM, RTX 4090, Win10Pro, 2 x 2TB SSD i9 10980XE, 128GB RAM, RTX 3090Ti, Win10 Pro, 2 x 256GB SSD, 4 x 512GB SSD RAID 0, 6 x 4TB HDD RAID 6, 9361-8i RAID Controller i7 4960X, 64GB RAM, GTX Titan X Black, Win10 Pro, 512GB PCIe SSD, 2 x 256GB SSD
adber
5 years ago... We do not stand still! There is no way to animate them, please make covers. Do not steal realism!:pilotfly: Ил-76 XPLANE https://vk.com/club182254481
AeriaGloria
I’m a CB nut, I love turning off flight control on FBW planes, but I think we’ll live without these circuit breakers. Jonne
Are the Mi-8 CBs used to actually turn stuff on and off? Because there are a lot of aircrafts, like the Yak-52 or Yak-18T where the circuit breakers are also used as the system switches. In those cases it does make sense to animate them and program the functionality. In the case of the MiG-21 those are not used in operation and there is a switch for the very same circuit anyway. So I do understand the decision to not make them usable, as it would really be a huge effort for nearly 0 gain. The module which is currently considered the most advanced does not have the CBs animated by the way. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]

Ok, then close with clear glass? p.s. What are you talking about? F/A-18c? Ил-76 XPLANE https://vk.com/club182254481
Jonne
Glear glass would actually be the right thing to do and I am wondering, why it is missing. Judging from pictures on the web, you cannot even open the cover without tools. And I am talking about the F-14. [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
Skopikus
I think clear glass will kill realism aspecialy in VR. Now glass works very cool and realistic on my point of view. Need to go museum again to chek, but my memory paints glass as same as it is now.
