Version 1.03

Seven-G is a next-generation flight simulation based for the F/A-18 Hornet airframe. Utilizing real physics, accurate flight models and dynamic environmental conditions, while taking advantage of the latest technologies to replicate the flight of the aircraft to the highest level of degree.

The development team associated with the continued progress of Seven-G, has undergone the tradition of releasing one of their 'developer demos' for the general public to try, and take interest in the project. Version 1.03 marks the latest, and final, public demo release of Seven-G. Due to the immenent completion and final release of Seven-G later on this year, the development team will be making version 1.03 the last released demo.

We thank everyone who has volunteered to the project, and to everyone else who has continually supported, spread interest, or in any way helped with the continued success of the Seven-G project. From us on the development team, we are most certain it is your keen support that has been the greatest factor in helping carry the project to it's current state, so from all of us; Thanks!

Welcome to the very first addition to the Seven-G News section. This blog-in-sort will mainly revolve around the ongoing development of the game, thoughts and ambitions of the development team, as well as other important news announcements pertaining to the project. This all, is meant to be able to maintain solid ground with the ever-growing user base of supporters and fans.

 

Beginning with recent development achievements, we've just released version 1.03 as of today. This new version includes many new additions to the game and improves upon many of the older features, such as the flight model. One word of note on this release, is that it will in fact be the last version of our 'developer demo' series that we release. The reason being that development will actually be coming to a close soon - that is - completion! We expect the simulation to be completed around the June/July time frame, with the testing phase to subsequently follow. Furthermore, we've pushed the final release date back six months to accommodate the aforementioned test phase.

 

Continuing on from this point, due to the ending of the 'development demo' series, we will be keeping the community informed all the way throughout development up to its completion. This will come solely from website updates, announcements (both on the message boards and the news section), as well as videos, and development photos. Once again we'd like to thank all of the supporters and fans that have come and gone throughout our nine months of active public development.
