Wolf359
A friend of mine FINALLY got a system that can run DCS. His first purchase is the F15C. He wants to learn the aircraft at its level but there is no cold start option in the Caucasus map. How can he get to a cold start scenario without creating a fast mission? Has anyone created a cold start mission file for this? draconus
Look in the Instant Action or Missions menu. There should be one called Cold Start. No one makes such a mission for download because you can do it yourself in just a few clicks (a few seconds in Mission Editor). I can upload one if you wish - just tell me which airport and parking spot. 1. run ME 2. click aircraft icon on the left 3. click on the airfield to place it 4. on the right choose country and unit (F-15C) 5. on the skill list choose Player 6. on the waypoint type choose Take off from ramp 7. Fly the mission Win10 i7-10700KF 32GB RTX3060 Rift S T16000M TWCS TFRP FC3 F-14A/B F-15E CA SC NTTR PG Syria

Wolf359
Just a side-note: Persian Gulf and Nevada have cold start for the F15. I haven't played with the mission editor yet, so this will give me a kick in the rear to do so. draconus
Yeah, I meant "Cold and Dark" but forgot it was for Nevada. Both "No Fly Zone" and "Clean Sweep" for Caucasus have cold starts though.
