rale26 Posted June 1, 2020 Share Posted June 1, 2020 My INS wasn't aligned and magnetic heading on HSI was showing 310 although I was lined with Galeznik runway 10. So it seems that mag heading in HSI is obviously tied to INS. Does Mirage have traditional magnetic compass, one that would work without INS? It feels strange that plane doesn't have one as a backup.
