ruprecht
Wondering if it would be feasible and of much interest to release a blue water map for carrier/naval scenarios. Might be interesting to not have the safety net of a divert field. It's obviously not a priority but I thought it might be a relatively easy thing to do. ouPhrontis
I'd fly over that. I think this would be rather straightforward, too; assuming that the plane for all maps is infinite. VIKBELL
I asked two years ago never heard anything. There are 2 categories of fighter pilots: those who have performed, and those who someday will perform, a magnificent defensive break turn toward a bug on the canopy. erniedaoage
+1, but for like 5$ or something, would be nice as a freemap but pretty useless to all the free2play users since u cannot use it with the su25t nor the tf51 ;) and right now there are just 7 modules which can be used on such a carrier based map. But if you would go for 2 little islands with an airfield it would make sense as a free gift for everybody. Well, perhaps rather than fictional islands; we can find actual places on the globe that would fit with the simulator; Near Islands, with Eareckson Station. Marshall Islands, with Roi Namur and Kwajalein, et al. Diego Garcia, with its Naval Support Facility. You'd then, if needs be have an alternate to fly to, but could also have the carrier group so far away from it to sate the need for exercises where you're too far out.
