Skitter
Hi guys, I didn't plan going VR when i purchased the 1060 6GB, but a friend is selling his Oculus Rift and I am considering buying. Do you think there's any chance I might actually be able to play current DCS with my card ? I've got Gigabyte Gforce GTX 1060 G1 Gaming 6G. I have a feeling I should probably let it go. Esac_mirmidon
You will be able to use It but dont expect a great perfomance at all. If you can stand setting almost all graphics to low and a low pixel density It should be fine. " You must think in russian.." FragBum
It should work fine, there are others that use 1060 with VR as always with DCS an upgrade will help. :) Been flying Rift for 18 months now sure it's not perfect but I'm also sure you'll find it great. I mostly fly rotatory and wouldn't go back to a screen. :D  Control is an illusion which usually shatters at the least expected moment. Gazelle Mini-gun version is endorphins with rotors. See above. Currently rolling with a Asus Z390 Prime, 9600K, 32GB RAM, SSD, 2080Ti and Windows 10Pro, Rift CV1. bu0836x and Scratch Built Pedals, Collective and Cyclic. beppe_goodoldrebel
I have it , sometimes during taxi and over towns I get 30-40 fps ( with high settings and 2x MSSA)... enjoyable but I dont use VR. I guess you better think about a more powerful graphic card.
