dburne Posted October 27, 2019 Share Posted October 27, 2019 (edited) Two totally different things, really can not compare Track IR and VR. Track IR is an enhancement for running a sim on the monitor to allow head movement to pan. VR is it's own thing, the game is displayed in the headset with 1:1 tracking. Instead of looking at an image on a monitor, it is like you are in the world with it all around you everywhere you turn your head and look, with 3d perception. No looking at a monitor. VR is very demanding though and will have less clarity than an image on a 2d monitor with the current technology. But it is improving, and already provides one heck of an experience. I joined into VR in Jan 2017 and have not done any gaming on my monitor since. Many love it, and some not so much. I use mine daily.
