Will your F-4E radar make use of the Air to Ground radar API that has been developed by ED to simulate true to life clutter in the pulsed radar scope?
Or do you plan on using your own radar solution? |

The Hind is the only focus we need to concentrate on right now.
Belsimtek move into an almost Zen like state when it comes to module development. Whatever is the new focus is the now current state of Zen they are at! F-4E questions are like the fly buzzing around the head of budha whilst in a transcendental state of pure clarity..... the fly is nothing to the current being of reality but it is some how everything to the end question. The problem for us grasshoppers is that their output is so prolific that they are always at some Zen state that holds some relevance to us in the now, but offers little understanding to the greater meaning of everything! The Hind is Zen brother..... the rest is....... everything? Last edited by Rogue Trooper; 05-02-2018 at 10:10 PM. |

Seriously, the Hind is #1 on my wishlist of all possible aircraft for DCS (AH-1 or early model AH-64 being a close second). The F-4? I'm glad it's being added but I don't have much interest in flying it. I probably won't buy it until it gets heavily discounted and even then may skip it.

They are both extremely appealing... and both a sure buy!

While I like the Mi-24 and will buy it as soon as it is available for purchase, I have waited all my life for a study sim of the F-4. To be fair, the F-4B, F-4E, and F-4J/S have been modeled fairly well in FSX/P3d with TacPack, but there is no substitute for a full-blown DCS World combat aircraft. The only problem I really have with DCS World (besides PC performance) is the lack of a historically proper environment to employ the aircraft. I want Vietnam and/or Israel for the F-4E... but DCS always models the latest/best variant rather than the most historically significant variants. So both the F-4E and MiG-21bis aren't quite the variants we need for Vietnam.

With the Hornet release today can we expect to see news on the F-4 and/or Mi-24 sometime soon?
