Persian Gulf Map Missed Sites

Hi everyone

As we know DSC create this map for F/A-18 naval operation and Hormuz Strait is the highest point of tension between Iran/US and allies therefor, this area is much richer than others in the map But Persian Gulf region is much more than Hormuz Strait

There are many areas in the map that have conflict potential, but focus on Hormuz Strait make other areas unusable

In this post I want to talk about major missed sites in the PG Map In Iran, which can active other areas and improve the ability of simulation. all of these locations are inside current map size and does not need any extend

Also, there are many sites in other countries like Iraq, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Bahrain, Oman which I have no Idea about them please feed this post with your information about them

Airbase and airports:

1- Bushehr:

The Bushehr Air Base is most important Iran airbase in north of the Persian Gulf. This base is host of F-4E and F-14 and had a major role in Iran-Iraq war. Also, this base is the first responder to any Threat in the northern Persian Gulf area

Konarak air base is Iran's only ocean air base. This base is have mission to cover the north Gulf of Oman and north of India ocean. This base is host of F-4D and Mirage F1 which are prepared for anti-ship operations

It was announced as DCS: Strait of Hormuz

Keeping the story short, while in development people where asking to expand it to include more of the Persian Gulf. It seems current engine/map technology limits the amount of detailed areas in a map, so finally they decided to expand the map to current extents but because of those limits all areas outside the original Strait of Hormuz have no detail, and will remain like that:

While all those places would be great I think this map was made to only represent the Strait itself. Of all the listed location in OP I think these location would be really all that is needed as well as a more detailed radar sites and fixed SAM locations.

Makes the inclusion of Bam and Persepolis all the more head scratching. They are so well done that it’s a shame they are in a part of the map almost no one will use because it’s almost pure satellite auto gen

Will there be some missing sites added in the future?

Iran is not very good done.

Too many missing important airfields and sites.
