pegon
Why doesn't Ed make a ring binder complete with F-18 stuff printed on the cover. In the days of yore i remember games coming in nicely illustrated boxes, filled with manuals and floppy discs. I miss the good old days ED ! McG
Probably due to the costs involved compared to offering a digital download.
pegon
They can offer it as a separate purchase as a collectible. The only ones that has to buy are the ones that are interested. Paradox
I wonder how big the box would need to be to hold DCS World and the F/A-18C on floppy disk now? Well My DCS install is 55GB without Normany or NTTR with most modules a 3.5" floppy is 1.44mb obvioussssllyyyy and a 3.5" floppy disk is 3.3mm thick So a stack of floppy disks that could contain my install would have 38195 floppies if they were all full So that stack would beeeee *drumroll* Just a smidgen over 126 metres tall
BlacleyCole
If the price for the item and shipping to NM is reasonable I’d be interested not to mention the timing of the release of the manual with in a month yes afterwards probably not because I’d would have read whatever I could find on the subject BlackeyCole 20years usaf XP-11. pegon
Well, think about it. For newbies like me, the complexity of this sim is a huge hurdle to overcome. It is the largest detractor for new adaptors. Making the learning curve easier can only be a good thing. And no, I don't expect floppy discs or "press play on tape" :) Intel Core i76700K, 32GB DDR4, 512GB PCIe SSD + 2TB HDD, GeForce GTX 1080 8GB, Pimax 5k+
