Thrustmaster TWCS throttle - slew settings?

Recommended Posts

I recently bought the Thrustmaster FCS HOTAS system, but Im yet to find the sweet-spot for the analog slew stick. It is way to fast and sensitive. Im trying to find a general setup that will work for radar cursor slewing on the FC3 modules and TGP/Shkval on the A10/Ka50. Anyone here who wants to share their slew sensor curve/deadzone settings? Thanks!

I don't know how similar the slew controls are but this might help. For the Warthog throttle, the default settings for the slew axis (both of them) are...

Deadzone: 30

Saturation X: 100

Saturation Y: 15

Curve: 0

At minimum, it should give you a good starting point.

For the tgp I changed nothing. But for the fc3 planes I use a high curve setting so that the movement can be slow and fast. Helpful for the radar in fighters. I also invert the vertical movement. Su25t is the most difficult one. But keep practicing. That helped me a lot without changing it every time. Gl

Maybe bit Late but i installed just new firmware to twcs and it got lot better. New drivers helped too, now there is option to set small deadzone in windows controller settings.

New firmware made it much more accurate, i think that they add some flittering so spiking is gone.

I chose to make a hardware change and replace that button with a Wii nunchcuk minijoystick attached to a Leo Bodnar controller. Now is very accurate and I am not using any curves, dead-zones, etc. Found that Wii pots are very good.

How did you get it to work? I cant assign it to anything other than a mini joystick as the axis is identical to my joystick. When I clear them no matter what I do I cant assign it to anything else. For insistence I want to assign it to slew the target seeker in the A 10 but it wont let me.Any advice would be welcome thanks in advance.
