Caspet
Hi all. I know it's been asked before but any updates on a printed, bound manual?:book: I purchased the one for BS and it really helped, and yes I have printed it out, in A5 format but it's not great, can't afford an I-Pad so a no go :( Might set up a poll to see how many peeps would buy one. (how does one do this poll thing?) Cheers:beer::beer: OK, Done the poll thing, Now vote.... PLEASE :clap_2::clap_2: Is it possible to add Kindle to my poll, if so how. Anyone know? LugNut
By the time they get around to printing it most of us who wanted one will have given up and printed it ourselves. I'd say it was a financial mistake on ED's part. Would be an easy profit maker for them I would think. I've waited about as long as I can now and am about to just have it printed. But hey, it's a fantastic game and I'd rather they spend their time writing code anyway. :)
kylania
The people that write the manual aren't the same ones that code the game. :) I ended up buying the BS manual quite after I had the game. IamSparticles
Has anyone used an online printing service, like these guys? http://www.mimeo.com Their quick estimate tool gives me a price under $20 (black and white) for a printed 700-page manual in a 3-ring binder. I'm just not sure if they will do it based on potential copyright issues.

Phantom88
I broke down and bought an ipad,I figured between The DCS A-10C,BlackShark,The next DCS Aircraft module and numerous other Great FSX A2A Warbirds the ipad will pay for itself in ink and paper. And it's much easier to carry around than a 600pg Manual. ....now I only need to find a way to break it to The Warden[i mean Wife] :) that I bought my B-DAY,X-MASS,Fathers Day Gift already!! :) Wish me Luck!! WildBillKelsoe
Look. Among many people, I'm frustrated that ED never released a printed manual. It's just not fair. BS had its manual shortly after release (unless I'm wrong). Besides, get the Ipad 2 (R.I.P. Jobs). I doubt they'll ever make a new ipad past 2. kylania
I doubt they'll ever make a new ipad past 2. You seem to not understand how Apple works. :) As for the manual, there's at least one more patch coming out and I think I read that even the current PDF manual was still undergoing edits. I'd much rather wait for a complete and error-free printed manual than get one now that has mistakes in it. LugNut
Seems like a great deal and 50% off color printing might be great, but the manual isn't finished yet. :) Maybe they changed it but it was 50% off entire order for me. I did color covers on the manual, but the rest was B&W. I did do a few full color jobs as well, thanks to all the people who post the great doc's here. I printed several of those as well. Quality was great on color images, just OK on B&W (as expected).
