slicker55
Hi Guys, I'm new to modelviewer Last night I tried to view the internal side panels in the Mirage cockpit. I want to view each panel from directly overhead and grab screenshots of the switches. I got very close but couldn't move the camera far enough over to the left to gain the precise vantage point. Did I reach the limitation of the camera's viewing angle or am I doing something wrong? :book: Edited November 24, 2016 by slicker55 include image i7-5820K 3.30Ghz | Asus X99-S | Sapphire R290X | R7 240 | 16GB DDR4 PC4 2800MHz | Samsung 850 EVO 500GB SSD (OS) | Samsung 840 EVO 500GB SSD (DCS) | Noctua NH-D14 2011 Cooler | OCZ ZT 750W '80 Plus Bronze' Modular PSU | NZXT Phantom Enthusiast | 3 x IIyama Prolite E2473HDS 24" | 1 x Dell S2240T 21.5" Touch Screen | Windows 10 64-Bit | AMD Eyefinity 5760 x 1080 | TrackIR5 | TM Warthog HOTAS | MFG Crosswind 1771 | Vaicom Pro + VA (Licensed) | Sennheiser Game Zero | Honeycomb Yoke (June 2020)]
joey45
There's no limitation of the camera. Shift+Right mouse button is moving the camera Shift+Left mouse button is moving the model you can have the left, right,up,down preset views from the menu bar > View > Set View To get rid of the model axis its - View > Show > Model Axis Edited November 24, 2016 by joey45 The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance. slicker55
Joey45, Thanks for your quick response - I will try again using your advice... To clarify, I can move the camera around the cockpit in all directions and zoom in/out. This is a bit difficult to explain but I think I need to find a way to strafe both horizontally and vertically in order to get directly overhead the panel. i7-5820K 3.30Ghz | Asus X99-S | Sapphire R290X | R7 240 | 16GB DDR4 PC4 2800MHz | Samsung 850 EVO 500GB SSD (OS) | Samsung 840 EVO 500GB SSD (DCS) | Noctua NH-D14 2011 Cooler | OCZ ZT 750W '80 Plus Bronze' Modular PSU | NZXT Phantom Enthusiast | 3 x IIyama Prolite E2473HDS 24" | 1 x Dell S2240T 21.5" Touch Screen | Windows 10 64-Bit | AMD Eyefinity 5760 x 1080 | TrackIR5 | TM Warthog HOTAS | MFG Crosswind 1771 | Vaicom Pro + VA (Licensed) | Sennheiser Game Zero | Honeycomb Yoke (June 2020)]
