Help with modelviewer please...

Hi Guys,

I'm new to modelviewer

Last night I tried to view the internal side panels in the Mirage cockpit.

I want to view each panel from directly overhead and grab screenshots of the switches.

I got very close but couldn't move the camera far enough over to the left to gain the precise vantage point.

Did I reach the limitation of the camera's viewing angle or am I doing something wrong?

There's no limitation of the camera.

Shift+Right mouse button is moving the camera

Shift+Left mouse button is moving the model

you can have the left, right,up,down preset views from the menu bar > View > Set View

To get rid of the model axis its - View > Show > Model Axis

The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance.

Joey45,

Thanks for your quick response - I will try again using your advice...

To clarify, I can move the camera around the cockpit in all directions and zoom in/out. This is a bit difficult to explain but I think I need to find a way to strafe both horizontally and vertically in order to get directly overhead the panel.

strafe is relative to current view angle

so look forward, and strafe left

then rotate left 90 degrees, strafe left (to move camera backwards)

then rotate forward 90 degrees, point down, and take your picture (for example)

Hi.

Is there any shortcut keycommand to re-load textures?

It's me or couldn't find it from "Help" menu.

Thanks so much.
