J11A - SD10?

Is there any chance for getting an SD-10 on the Deka's J11A?

The critical word there is "unconfirmed"...

The PL-10 isn't an SD-10, it's an IR missile. The PL-12 is what you're looking for.

Why would a chinese plane ever use an export missile? Just because it is the new hot shit in DCS?

Well im not a weapon systems expert like you, but SD-10, is not OP. Its preaty easy to avoid it.

We do have the PL-12 in the game currently and you can edit the lua to play with it on the J-11A

Though operationally it seems none of the type have used it, Uboats has said the missile has been trialed on the type but it would not exactly be kosher, then again when has that stopped anyone *cough*Walleye*Cough*

Isn’t the Walleye trialed on the F/A-18C back from it’s introduction? They were used a lot in gulf war 1. As has been said the J-11B is the only one with indeginous missiles. The 100 or so J-11As are kits from Sukhoi, they probably need the indigenous avionics to integrate the weapons maybe even with Russia’s permission. Even the MFI-55 is Russian

There are many blocs and I guess it depends which one we get I rather not have it at all wouldn't fit the bill for capability of current J-11A/Su-27SK types in service

J-11B carries Chinese weapons. But we have J-11A

Deka wouldn`t make it under any conditions coz it would hurt JF17 sales.

They won`t make a low fidelity (LF) J11B for same reason.

Other beginner devs could do that though. I`d buy LF 3rd party J11B or J15 for the price of other low fidelity modules.it would be a fricken best seller)))

Any modern LF red bird with better missiles would be a best seller among LF modules.

And we all knoe that LF is the only way it is possible to release modern red jets.

about low fidelity modules is good i started with FC3 and i love it TBH but but if the solution of low fidelity modules is so easy then why they dont make it there is a lot of shiny Fighter across the whole world if they come with LF with a decent price everyone will buy it and it will be fast profitable way but the fact is in my opinion the target here in DCS is high fidelity not low one ... this is my opinion u can disagree or agree just saying my though loudly

How would a low fidelity Soviet inspired fighter module hurt sales of a full fidelity F-16 inspired multi-role strike fighter module? That doesn't make sense.

The much bigger concern, I think, is what the Chinese government will allow them to get away with. Deka is in a similar situation with Chinese jets that ED is in with Russian jets I image, where the local government as a lot more power over what they can and can't do than a foreign one does. And both China and Russia aren't exactly known for being forthcoming with military technical details.

He doesnt say that we need anything. He just said he wish a more competetiv Flanker cuz its to easy to kill them and the migs in the current multiplayer enviroment.

I am not asking for balance for the sake of balance but a balance that exists in the real world.

I think everyone agrees and more up to date Flanker/J11b or other RED side jet would make DCS a more competitive environment.

ATM its one sided.

There is IC clean server with Chinese modernized Flankers armed  with PL-12\SD-10 PL-8,PL-5. Everiithing else that fly there is buffed. F-14,15,16,18 

Search for " EXERCISE RED FLAG" in server list. No need for Mods. When you take a slot your jet will be rearmed by the server)

If you ever want to use SD-10s on the flanker the Red Storm Rising Dynamic Syria Campaign PVP Server has it coded onto all flankers including the J-11 for REDFOR. This evens up the Red vs Blue BVR fights.

You can edit the weapons lua on the J11 to load SD10's. Turns the J11 into an A-A beast. Of course offline only as the Lua change doesn't pass IC.

I've just installed the SD-10 air-to-air missile mod and let me tell you... this does give the J-11 another authority in BVR combat !

Yes it is already a thing in IC protected MP server called "Exercise Red Flag" Soviet Flankers represent their Cinese versions and Armed with Chinese missiles. You don`t have to have any mods installed. Server issues them to your Flankers when you take the slot.
