33-DFTC
Amazing work ! Thank you for your dedication to continually update this mod. Have you been in contact with ED to include it in DCS ? Rudel_chw
Have you been in contact with ED to include it in DCS ? Not everyone needs or wants civil aircrafts on DCS, so I dont see a problem with a Modding approach to this content. Those that want the civil planes, just put the Mod on their Saved Games folder and presto :) For work: iMac mid-2010 of 27" - Core i7 870 - 6 GB DDR3 1333 MHz - ATI HD5670 - SSD 256 GB - HDD 2 TB - macOS High Sierra For Gaming: 34" Monitor - Ryzen 3600X - 32 GB DDR4 2400 - nVidia GTX1070ti - SSD 1.25 TB - HDD 10 TB - Win10 Pro - TM HOTAS Cougar - Oculus Rift CV1 Mobile: iPad Pro 12.9" of 256 GB
Shadow KT
Not everyone needs or wants civil aircrafts on DCS, so I dont see a problem with a Modding approach to this content. Those that want the civil planes, just put the Mod on their Saved Games folder and presto :) and I don't see why not ? No one is forcing people to use them and ED have said that if mod creators contact them they can see if they can make something an addition to DCS. It is already out there, the hard part is done. anyway, a quick picture for anyone who doesn't want the flyable cessna or anything which is not needed, but just the AI Liners these are the files you need to leave out 'Shadow' Everybody gotta be offended and take it personally now-a-days

Those that want the civil planes, just put the Mod on their Saved Games folder and presto :) I wasn't asking for these airplanes to be flyable. Like it or not, civilian aircrafts are anyway already available as official modules in DCS and more are coming, we have to deal with it. I don't see any inconvenience to have the largest airplane database possible. It's always a good thing to have as much options as possible. Our maps are pretty small and don't fit a large scale conflict, but they are perfect for limited engagements where civilian traffic is still operating in the area. It can add a layer of realism to any mission with very little work from the mission creator. In RL actually you can noticed civilian traffic near (for a jet) of war zone. So some mission scenario should be interesting The good things if ED put this mod (if makers are agree) is it should be accessible for everybody on online server Best Regards PS: sorry for my bad english PS2: I have a doubt, it wasn't possible in the past to set 3 differents coalitions (Bleu, Red and neutral maybe White) in DCS? In RL actually you can noticed civilian traffic near (for a jet) of war zone. So some mission scenario should be interesting I agree, in fact I’m a big fan of this Mod and use it on most of my own missions. I just didnt see why people cant just use the Mod, instead of having ED divert resources into mantaining yet another component of DCS. The good things if ED put this mod (if makers are agree) is it should be accessible for everybody on online server Thet’s a good reason ... I didnt think of it as I play mostly single player :) Best regards For work: iMac mid-2010 of 27" - Core i7 870 - 6 GB DDR3 1333 MHz - ATI HD5670 - SSD 256 GB - HDD 2 TB - macOS High Sierra For Gaming: 34" Monitor - Ryzen 3600X - 32 GB DDR4 2400 - nVidia GTX1070ti - SSD 1.25 TB - HDD 10 TB - Win10 Pro - TM HOTAS Cougar - Oculus Rift CV1 Mobile: iPad Pro 12.9" of 256 GB

Cake
have just played around and tested a few AI aircraft, everything works well , except a few minor details: -the blinking strobe lights remains still on at high cruise altitude, (i think they should be turned off above 10000 or 18000ft ?) Just checking out this mod... very cool. Is there a main post with FAQ and links for it? Nav lights are on when the plane has power. Strobes are generally put on when taking the runway and are always on in flight day or night unless in the clouds and causing annoyance to the pilots. Pulse lights typically go off above 10,000msl as you mention and back on when descending at 10,000. We (private GA) use FL180 for this, so some operators may have different procedures. 6700K@4.6 48Gb - 1080Ti Hybrid - Warthog - RIFT

McShetty
In the Civil Aircraft mod some of the lights and/or strobes are odd cubes. This happened to the Harrier a few months ago and a texture was missing. I suppose this is well know and simple fix. Can anyone explain how to fix it. The Super Connie in the previous post seems to be exhibiting the same issue.
