This of course is a part of a much bigger affair, related to a new version of Digital Combat Simulator. Thus, we would like to inform you that in accordance to a certain change in graphics engine which involves the introduction of PBR shaders, we were obliged to prepare a completely new set of textures for the MiG-21bis module. PBR or Physically Based Rendering is a model in computer graphics that attempts to render graphics in a fashion that more precisely models the flow of light in the real world. This of course means that there is a small possibility of new bugs to appear, so be aware of that. However, we would like to ask you not to focus on them so much, specifically there is no need to make individual bug reports as we are already aware of most of the bugs and work tirelessly to fix all of them. We also would like to report that soon there will be a new livery template released for the MiG-21bis. Please, be aware that with the new version of the game all the bugs should be reported under 2.1 Bug Section, bugs related to 2.0 version will not be accepted. See you in the skies ! I'm a noob in skin making and I find the ED templates much easier to work with. The current MiG-21 template is really a pain to work with as I really don't know how to even color it, it goes crazy when I try to color it. The ED templates are so much easier. Working between our next project and the MiG-21 the updates for openAlpha will slowly roll in. Just keep in mind, "openAlpha" Since Cobra worked on the cockpit, I'm still thumbing through his work and getting familiar with his settings. Also a strange green tone wíothout back light is present in needles and some instruments. Waiting for the next update to see if they can fix it. Anyway the cockpit looks much better now.
