Nope, other Chilean pilots flew Mirages-50 Up-Graded Pantera with canards for low flying dynamic stability and a Full OTAN config. version of MIII-5 Elkan.

FACH is more interested to send F-16 B-30 and 40 plus B-50's for this exercises, specially to check-compare Rafales performances (BVR capability and Tactics).

Jajajajaja ho yeah, nice Camo. We called Pantera the Race Plane, it was fast and when do engaged him, one of the things to be aware was not let him to speed up more than to M1.2 because that engine (ATAR 9 K 50) enters in a Sur Vitess, increasing engine speed by 500 rpm, and we were unable to follow him. On those years ( 8o's) we used to have FOX 2 Missiles AIM 9, Rafael Shafrir's and Pythons, later on we receive FOX 1 and FOX 3 Missiles.

My request is difficult for advance, but, we need it badly to counteract American AIM 120 Amraams FOX3 missiles with Mica Up-Grades used in the -5 improved model.

We need to upgrade our beauty with more sophisticated medium range fire and forget missiles.

Please, try to see if this request is possible in the near future.

Queridos diseñadores, les ruego vean la posibilidad preliminar de analizar vuestras capacidades de hacer el up-grade -5 ( Greek model version ) a nuestros Mirage o simplemente el F-18 no tendrá oponente alguno.

Solo debido a la agilidad del M2C es que por ahora es el único que le ofrece peligro al F-18 ( guns-guns ), pero en BVR la desventaja es total debido a la cantidad de misiles que puede portar y la capacidad de fox3 a mayor distancia. El misil Mica es la solución con un mejor sistema de SA y RDR mas avanzado, osea, el M2000-5.

Yep Mica missiles have been requested numerous times in the past. But from his profile slowfinger23 is only 6 months old on the forum. And let’s be honest...any Mirage 2000C fan would jump on Mirage 200-5 module if it was to become true.

So a little bit of courtesy won’t hurt.

Thanks for the pic. I can tell you that I flew the real M2K-5 SIM, because my country was interested to buy this beauty, but they choose another beauty, the F-16 Block 50.

Anyways, now we are talking. Extreme agility plus 4 Gen. SA and Armament.

What i'm requesting is Mica EM/ER can be up-grade or not to our M2KC, no more no less.

It would be stupid to say never but, due to a lack of hard data, it doesn't appear that we'll be getting a Mirage update any time soon.

Sorry, not a chance, it we ever develop a -5 it will be an independent module at full price, the differences between iterations of the same aircraft, in this case, are very critical

Adding my voice to the thread, I too want my Mirage with Fox 3. Not only because of being required online against the Hornet, but also because it's just cool.

Such a beautiful, plane. Nothing like the Mirage 2000!

How about faking it ? Simply allow the player to use the the mica in single player. And let the server allow the missile in multiplayer.

Sometimes it is right to make compromises to allow for competitive gameplay, and the real deal seems to be years away.

Current DCS WOrld Mica for AI Mirage 2000-5 doesn't worth it.

They would have to code a new missile model...

Yet it’s already too much work for something that isn’t within DCS standards.

I would love to have a better aa and an exocet though, and fail to understand how steering fidelity a bit but incresing usefulness and fun factor would be a bad thing. Plus you may choose not to use it if you want to be a purist. We already have an option for an english cockpit, that probably never existed. Yet no one complains. Perhaps someone with abilities can create a mod?

There is another topic where you can see that DDM are disabled on most MP servers.

Look how people are going through the roof when we talk about removing CFT on Strike Eagle.

English cockpit is a texture thing.

Fox 3 is about AA capacity, and IRL it comes with a totally new weapon system.

"for you" is the key here, you are not every one.

There is no need to make it "competitive" (as if it was a thing in a sim) with the F/A-18.

It’s a matter of time line.

Give Hornet AIM-9M + AIM-7M and you will be competitive.

Plus you should try to compete with MiG-29 and Su-27 rather than NATO fighters. :smilewink:

This is not a game to be balanced. This is a simulator meant to accurately represent the various aircraft. I expect there to be advantages and disadvantages. One of the rewarding things is killing a “better” aircraft with an older “worse” aircraft.
