Export of instruments?

I'm wondering, are your products going to be able to export instruments, gauges and screens/sights to another monitor, like the A10C and Blackshark can?

That will most likely be a deciding factor in my decision to buy or not, as I have a hard time flying anything that can not do this. Flying BS2 and A10C with Helios, using Loz's and Zeen's profiles with fully exported instrument suites, kind of spoils you that way :)

The Huey pretty much sits unused in a dark corner of the hangar, because of this..

Anyway, the Gazelle sure looks good so far :)

Have you managed to find an export.lua for UH-1H instruments ... I've recently been looking around but not had any joy yet.

No, I don't think it's possible for the Huey, hence why I was asking here.. Still keeping my fingers crossed, but as no dev have popped by yet, I haven't got my hopes up high.

Well, I'll just stay with the Shark I guess, but it would have been nice with something western. (and light)

Sounds very exiting, good to hear from you :)

I don't know if you have looked much in to what export is possible with other aircrafts yet, but for inspiration, maybe take a peek at what Capt. Zeen have been doing with his Helios profiles.

Capt Zeen is currently creating a Helios profile for the Huey, with all working instruments. He's done the same for the MI8, P51 etc. all aircraft that we didn't think it was possible to export from.

I believe he does it by treating them as flaming cliffs 3 aircraft, but not too sure.

Basically, keep an eye on his posts, as I'm sure we will see a Huey export very soon.

I have followed these links a few times but have yet to find a working instrument profile for the UH-1H.

All I can say is they certainly worked for me now, very nicely... on 1.5b.

Addition:

Just checked, for the Huey, there are 2 profiles, HT UH-1H.xml and HT UH-1H-all.xml. The second allows 2 clickable pages, one for for the pilots side and 'tother for the co-pilots side...

Takes a while to work it all out and get things positioned but it is good and lightweight on resources...

Hope this helps....

All cockpit commands are available for all planes, except Flamming Cliff. Thing is : the way DCS declares cockpit input and output are common to all plane, and they are the root to any export software. music_whistling.gif

Afterward, it depends on what you use for your cockpit. Natively, SIOC support everyplane. DCS-BIOS and Helios are unfortunately more limited since they use their own export function, but it's nothing hard to tackle at user level.
