Nealius
In reading about the Su-25A's usage in Afghanistan in the '80s, there were many accounts of S-24 rockets being fired in salvo. I can't seem to get this to work in DCS, as even with the interval/ripple selections set to "all", I am only able to fire the S-24 singly, and the LCtrl+V 'Salvo' setting doesn't appear to do anything at all. Am I missing something?
Avimimus
I think the last time that worked for firing a salvo was a hack/mod for Flanker 2! I just did a test - by rapidly pulling the trigger I can fire off all 8xS-24 rockets in about 5 seconds... so one can do it manually quite well! Weta43
They stopped using the S-24 on the Su-25 because if you salvo fire them, the smoke flameouts the engines ... Cheers.
Avimimus
I found another solution: There is a second S-24B modelled which allows firing using the "Lctrl+V". If you put the attached file in the following directory it should appear in the load-out screen as the second option: .\Scripts\Database\planesSu-25.lua
Rider1
Pull the trigger fast.
Schmidtfire
If you have a dual-stage trigger stick like TM Warthog, you can map both first and second detents to Weapon Release. Works really well and fires like a salvo. No need to use lctrl-v.
