He said in the COMING weeks, there was no mention of a couple!

Oh wow. I replaced the words in my mind, while thinking about coming weeks, and just doing a search for general meaning of 'coming weeks', as a response. The mind is a mysterious place.

I guess I secretly hope for just a couple of weeks :)

Vulkan API is huge news. It can use multi thread abilities of CPU's for rendering purposes.

Yes, me too. Two weeks would be ideal, one week even better! I'm trying to be realistic though, and just hoping that we'll see the merger before the end of the year.

I used the winter sale to get C-101 and 3 campaigns, for... ~40 bucks. Almost makes me feel bad. It's like a steal.

F/A-18, F-16, F-14, M-2000C, A-10C, AV-8B, AJS-37 Viggen, F-5E-3, F-86F, MiG-21bis, MiG-15bis, L-39 Albatros, C-101 Aviojet, P-51D, Spitfire LF Mk. IX, Bf 109 4-K, UH-1H, Mi-8, Ka-50, NTTR, Normandy, Persian Gulf... and not enough time to fully enjoy it all

The C-101CC is in beta testing so should be released in the next month or so (I'm guessing). So, you'll have the EB and CC versions. And both will eventually come with EFMs. So, $40 just for that is a great deal.

The newsletter went strangely under the radar for me, forum not giving a 'new post' indication, and the post date being the 28th.

All of the fundamental work on this map is complete and we are not tuning the elevation mesh, textures, and cleaning up bugs

Might want to fix that typo before people get their pitchforks out!

Yep, all sounding very good!

They recommend keeping 1.5 and 2.2 intact for downloading the new 2.5 when it becomes available to save some download time, however I just do not have enough room for this on my gaming SSD, so will have to uninstall something. But in any event, it will all be so well worth the effort!

End of Jan is not too far now.

I'm confused,So 1.5.8 open beta will NOT be updated to 2.5 open beta?

1.5 OB will be updated to 2.5 OB.
