- Some fixes to be made to TGP and some A/G Weapons.

- They promised a Cruise / Performance / Range Page before it gets out of "Early Access"

- HMD if Pakistan adds it to their Block 1 Jeffs.

Other than that, its feature complete.

You forgot the weather radar that they wanted to do

Some other featuares are also missing / not simulated (meaning i don't know if these have any functionality/are simulated):

- IRST (infra-red search and track) from Block III
- ACMI (Air Combat Manoeuvering Instrumentation (Flight Data Recorder)): i don't know if there can be any functionality
- VRC (Video Recorder settings)
- P.U (Position Update)
- Flight Test I, Flight Test II, REC and RESET on FCS-Panel
- P.H (pitot heat) TEST on MISC-Panel
- CSS (Canopy Severance System) handle on the left: makes no difference when ejecting
- Radio (through COMM-Panel and UFCP and some are not possible in DCS i think):
  - Sqelch Acknowledge
  - ADF (Automatic Directional Finder)
  - Radio Modulation (Encryption): CMS and TRS
  - Encrypted Radio Network (NE- and NES) and Mode (SLAV and MAST)

If you know if these things work and how they work please tell me!

We dont have the Block 3 in DCS. We have Pakistani Block 1.

I was just mentioning things that were, at some point, slated to be added or said to be added but conditions apply, like the HMD.

WS-13

I read that India is going to be manufacturing the RD-93MA engines in the future, not the WS-13, so I don't think we'll get the WS-13.

And the PL-10 weight is higher, our block won't get that unless they introduce some reduced weight version.

I think you mean Pakistan not India.

WS-13 is planned for block III at least.

PL-10E weight is not that much higher that it can't be fitted on earlier blocks. Block IIs are planned to be brought to III standard.

Yes, why would India make those engines? India is going to be making RD-33 engines to keep its Mig-29 fleet operational, they would never consider selling engines to Pakistan.

Hi guys!

I'm happy for the recent update for the JF-17!, could anyone explain to me the new option for the Drawing two airspace on HSD?

I looked into the lua file and what I saw is something like coordinates

Hi guys!

I was looking in controls, does the JF-17 have an indent like other aircrafts? Like F16, F18. Today, I was training with a human AWACS and he told me to indent but he could no see me, what I'm missing?

Additionally, I would like to know if the JF have indent options/controls?

Thank you!

有谁知道加油探头是否影响飞机物理?我想知道当你知道你不会 AAR 或者它不会改变 FM 所以你可以把它留在上面时,把它取下来是否有用

谢谢!

Installing it adds extra weight and fuel consumption.

The module is at the moment OK-ish when it comes to A-A (e.g. it has some unique features such as target size and front/back ECM. A-G there is a number of issues that await for fixing. If you use the glide bombs LS-6  on servers where "unrestricted sat nav" is not enabled, as red side you will face the problem of precision. It looks like ED thinks the degraded GPS signal is still a thing in 2024, but that was removed in 2000 IRL, and meanwhile GPS is so much widespread that turning degraded signal on would have severe consequences not only for enemy, but also allies (I would understand if they bring jammers and spoofers to the game).

Drawbacks in A-A include:

  • subsonic speed (you need to climb/high dive to get it at about 1.3-1.6 Mach). This is visible both in attack and specially defending. Even the hornet will be able to catch you in a chase.
  • missiles do not have INS in DCS (old API), so they require you to guide practically at least until the missile starts downward part of trajectory (otherwise they go stupid and even level the flight!)
  • only 4 BVR missiles ( I typically fly with only 2: hit and run)

I started playing with it in September 2023 (I was very skeptical about it, and I regret that), and I must say I enjoy it despite the need for minor overhauls.

You are misunderstanding what "unrestricted satnav" is. It has nothing to do with terrain masking GPS-signal (counter to what it sounds like - degraded GPS is btw. a default feature in DCS which you cannot select/deselect).

Here is a an explanation what it is:

Simply put, it is about the availability of coalition GPS systems to one another.

Example: If the feature is off, then a Ka-50 will not recieve GPS signal from GLONASS (Russian GPS - Redfor) if it is put in the Bluefor. Equally, a F-18C will not have its GPS working, if it is under Redfor. That goes for any unit. Additionally, the GPS will not work if mission date is set to 28/03/1994 or before (there was no GPS before that).

As to degraded GPS, let's wait and see about Afghanistan. It was a place notoriously known for poor radio-transmissions (even modern equipment) as well as dark spots (no reception) for even aerial GPSs. For GPSs, it's particularly true where there is much metal in the natural rock composition. Even modern militaries have had problems with basic logistics there. I wouldn't call GPS reception quality as a thing of the past, especially since there are more places around the earth which have less coverage/reception problems.

That isn't mentioning e.g. the use of nuclear weapons in space in order to take out satellites with a EMP. This is a very real rehearsal. I was impressed by a recent US Congress hearing on Military posture, specifically air force, where one congressman mentioned the current overreliance on GPS and insufficient training with manual systems (INS and star trackers (mostly a thing of the past)).
