(or whatever you call it) In other words, say you are trying to pick up a low flying maneuvering Su-33 about 40 miles away. Obviously you would put the altitude scan range lower, but what about the range? If you put it to 160 will the radar "waves" be more spread out and therefore the detection probability decrease? You seem to be misunderstanding what changing the range actually does. First, in game, we can't adjust the radar gain or strength. The gain is always the same.
