rush01us
This may already be posted or asked. When launching from a Carrier or from land with any type of payload, I cannot get the ailerons to straighten out. The plane is at an upward angle. I am new to the F-18. I don't have a clue what could be causing this issue. If I take off from the Carrier I can't get the plane to speed up even with full afterburner. The plane will stall out and crash every time. I try to adjust the flaps and it doesn't help. :helpsmilie: Is there a switch or button that resets flaps and ailerons once in the air for the f-18? =Panther=
Carrier takeoff trim values need to be set prior to cat launch. The default trim is for land based takeoffs, and is set when the trim reset button is pressed in the cockpit (aft of throttles). Carrier values: Need 16 degrees of Nose up for a weight of <44000 Need 17 degrees of Nose up for a weight of 45000-48000 Need 19 degrees of Nose up for a weight of >49000. Reference the FCS page to see trim values.
