Waxer Posted August 9, 2019 Share Posted August 9, 2019 Hey folks. I've been trying to get my Rift S working with Voice Attack. Big problems! I've tested my Rift S microphone on Skype's "record and playback a message" feature: one huge problem seems to be that - at normal speaking voice - the recording playback is 1) very, very faint 2) also has white noise / static in the background. This means that whatever voice signal is being picked up is being drowned out by white noise. So my questions: 1) Is anyone else having the same problem? Is everyone having this problem? 2) Is there a work around or a fix in some obscure setting somewhere? 3) Anyone else get Voice Attack and Vaicom working on their Rift S? Binary Posted August 9, 2019 Share Posted August 9, 2019 It was very faint for me too. It was set to an input volume of only 10% in the Oculus app. After setting it to 100%, it works fine.
