MileHiRyder
In all the single player missions I've flown, the A.I. F/A 18 fighters all emit a howling sound when they're landing and moving on the ground. Is this suppose to be realistic or is this a bug?. I sure hope this is a bug because I've pre-purchased the F/A 18 and this noise is very annoying. :( Phanteks Enthoo Evolv ATX Glass, Asus Rog Maximus IX Hero Z270, Intel Core I7 - 7700K, Gskill TridentZ RGB 32GB DDR4 3200, MSI GTX 1080 Gaming X 8G, Samsung 960 EVO M.2 500GB, Seagate BarraCuda 3TB, NZXT Kraken X62, Corsair RM750X, Windows 10 Home, Asus ROG PG348Q 34” 3440 x 1440 100hz curved IPS G-Sync monitor, Saitek X52 Pro Hotas, TrackIR V5
Deano87
I know in real life the F-18 has a destinctive howl on the ground. But I wouldn't judge what the full module will sound like form how the AI sounds currently. But hypothetically speaking if it is correct and realistic surely it wouldn't be enough to stop you flying the F-18?:wassat: Edited April 3, 2018 by Deano87 Proud owner of: PointCTRL VR : Finger Trackers for VR -- Real Simulator : FSSB R3L Force Sensing Stick. -- Deltasim : Force Sensor WH Slew Upgrade -- Mach3Ti Ring : Real Flown Mach 3 SR-71 Titanium, made into an amazing ring. MileHiRyder
This latest update 2.5.1 has removed the howling sound that was present whenever an AI F/A 18 was landing or taxiing. It sounded like a one tone battle horn before for some reason on my system. Since nobody else commented on this I'm assuming it might have been something unique to my installation. Regardless, its now gone and the F/A 18 fighters now sound like regular jets. Phanteks Enthoo Evolv ATX Glass, Asus Rog Maximus IX Hero Z270, Intel Core I7 - 7700K, Gskill TridentZ RGB 32GB DDR4 3200, MSI GTX 1080 Gaming X 8G, Samsung 960 EVO M.2 500GB, Seagate BarraCuda 3TB, NZXT Kraken X62, Corsair RM750X, Windows 10 Home, Asus ROG PG348Q 34” 3440 x 1440 100hz curved IPS G-Sync monitor, Saitek X52 Pro Hotas, TrackIR V5
