Avionics wise, the specific variants we have for the 16/18 I'm pretty sure are 2000s era, along with the A-10 and I believe also the Harrier. Most everything else is late 80s/early 90s.

That's funny, since dogfights (WVR) are generally done at full thrust, especially when the other guy's plane has more of it :D

Yep, youll'end up to full thrust at some point, but personally I prefer to not merge at full power to keep speed not too high and get some advantage in the first turn (sometimes this make the difference).

Well, F-5A entered service in 1962 (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Northrop_F-5) as 2nd/3rd gen (depends on the classification criteria) fighter. F-5E is an evolution of F-5A and although introduced in 1972 is still a 2nd/3rd gen fighter while F-16C, F-15C and M-2000C are all 4th gen (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jet_fighter_generations)

So after flying this plane a week, I can kill an AI F-14 now. Pretty cool! I would say this is a great module for people learning BFM, wish I would have bought this before the newer planes.
