Just tried this in the Su-25. Yup, craters were indeed made and my landing gear was indeed damaged when I landed. Plus after I bombed it, ATC told me to go to my alternate airfield. Very cool.

Map tool release is very enticing information ....... is this actually on the cards?

I know that Normandy is the map plan .... and these few images really looks amazing ... with the skills in the community, this could get very amazing very quickly.

They are only available to approved 3rd party teams right now, I dont know of any plans for a public release.

There is always an option if you feel strong enough to become a 3rd party maps creator. Let's improve DCS WW2 together!

Can't wait to fly over the Normandy from 1944, that would be a change from Normandy 1940-41 in IL2 - Cliffs of Dover
