Spitfire - Issue with 3d Model, Rudder to Fuselage area

Hey guys,

I noticed an odd change to the Spitfires tail section after the recent update. The top fuse, area just before the rudder seems to have an odd change to the model. Looks almost like they removed some of the 3D Vertices used to round out the area and now it gives it a sharp curve instead a nice smooth curve, right where the rudder meets the top of the fuselage.

Im a picky guy with detail so the minute I loaded it up right after the recent Spitfire/Normandy update I immediately noticed this.

Anyone know if this is a known issue?... Pics are below

Spitfire - Issue with 3d Model, Rudder to Fuselage area

Noticed this immediately after the recent update. Looks like the 3d Vertices which connect the fuse to the Rudder are offset.

Here is a before and after picture

Where exactly do you see the pronounced "kink" as in OP's screenshot?

Right there in the drawing...

Here’s another drawing of the tail. This time by the plastic model manufacturer, Eduard. I know their research to be very good, but I guess one shouldn’t consider it the gospel truth.

There is a kink where the dorsal fairing attaches to the vertical stabilizer. I think it looks a lot like that last pic, in the post above.

I looked at one today live. It has a very noticeable kink.

The pic didn't do it justice unfortunately. Nothing smooth about the curve at all.

I tried superimposing Monfortons drawing onto a flipped copy of joey45’s pic.

There seems to be something odd about the leading edge of the vertical stab, and the dorsal fairing, but one can’t be completely sure when comparing 3D models to 2D drawings.

Your drawing shows a nice curve past the round panel, while the ED model has a significant kink right above the round panel.

The real kink, if it can even be called that, is caused by a very slight bulge in the upper forward section of the tail.
