Leviathan667
Hi, in the 2nd mission of the Kursant campaign, we are supposed to take-off and land on runway 22 (219°). So the wind direction should, as advertised, be 039°. But it is 219° instead. Ramsay
Hi, in the 2nd mission of the Kursant campaign, we are supposed to take-off and land on runway 22 (219°). So the wind direction should, as advertised, be 039°. But it is 219° instead. Why do you think the wind direction is TOWARDS 219° ? Looking at the mission in the ME • there's a 5 m/s (10 knot) ground wind TOWARDS 39°T • AI aircraft are using RWY 22 and takeoff into the wind • a windsock placed at the start of RWY 22 blows in the correct direction i9 9900K @4.7GHz, 64GB DDR4, RTX4070 12GB, 1+2TB NVMe, 6+4TB HD, 4+1TB SSD, Winwing Orion 2 F-15EX Throttle + F-16EX Stick, TPR Pedals, TIR5, Win 10 Pro x64, 1920X1080
Morpheus
In DCS, wind direction is not the one it comes from but where it goes (+/- 180°) ;) Envoyé de mon P00C en utilisant Tapatalk
Leviathan667
thank you. After reading your answers, I don't even understand why I asked that question :) Wishlist: Tornado ADV/IDS, Blackburn Buccaneer, Super Mystère B2, Saab J 35 Draken,
Morpheus
It's not the usual way to comunicate wind direction, in real life wind 120° wants to say it's coming from 120° and goes 300° :smilewink:
