Finding a FARP via Radio signal only?

I was unable to physically find a FARP on the 104th server by just using the Grid "LM07", so the briefing offers a frequency of "126.0" (signal broadcasted by troops on ground). I was unable to figure out how to use this. Most of the tutorials I have watched on Youtube focus on beacons. Can anyone please point me in the direction of instructions? My Google searches over the last 2 days have proved unsuccessful. Many thanks,

with a freq. of 126.0 did you try using the nav com radio for homing?

that would be the VOR/ILS approach in chucks guide. for instructions

not ADF or FM navigation.

there used to be a problem with certain frequencies not being available to home too in multiplayer.

don't know if its fixed.

I believe I did try that as well, I will review Chucks Guide on that. I admit, I did not consider searching that guide. Thanks sir

Hmmm,, so it appears that I am setting the wrong radio, I was setting "Nav-Com"? If I set the VHF-Comm, turn the power on, I still dont get any results? Forgive my ignorance, but what is "DF"?

I may know less than you but, I think DF direction finer since ADF means Automatic direction finder and DM means distance measurement

127.5 is the standard comms channel for FARPS (ATC). Its not a Nav Aid and that has to be added separately to the mission either via CTLD or the in sim Mission Editor.

Historically there have been issues with setting up Nav Aids via the Mission Editor for Multiplayer environments (Only the host being able to tune and hear the transmission). No idea if this has been addressed yet to be honest.
